Credit for the 2005 Maroon & Gold Awards video presentation
thanks to Forum member Jerry Smith, media producer, RTC on Community
Living, Institute on Community Integration, whose time, creativity, and
talent gave us the first ever awards video shown at the 2005 annual conference
presentation. Smith is an award-winning producer who has created numerous
documentaries on issues affecting people with developmental disabilities.
His productions have been shown at film festivals throughout the country.
Most recently, his video for the University's One Stop Student Services
won the 2005 Gold Award for multimedia. In 2002, he won a Bronze Plaque
Award at the 50th Annual Columbus International Film & Video Festival
for "The Interact Center for the
Vsual and Performing Arts in 2002." That same year his documentary, "We
Watch the City: Stories in the Shadow of 9/ll," was broadcast on Twin
Cities Public Television. Call him when you need imaginative, high quality
