The Big Debate: What to Publish Online–And When

Magazines are driven by readers. And advertisers. And printers. Kelly Fitzgerald has been the online editor for Greenspring Media Group (and Minnesota Monthly magazine) for almost five years now–managing and maintaining over 15 publication and event sites, along with all e-marketing efforts–and has been tasked with balancing these audiences, along with other business objectives, in order to answer this very question.

Kelly discused how various departments' perspectives, along with industry demands, schedules, and priorities, affect this decision and make it a never-ending discussion.
