101 Walter Library
McCarthy, associate professor of graphic design at the University,
led participants in a project of reversing roles and seeing the
collaborative process from another point of view.
Participants divided into groups of writers/editors and designers/photographers.
Switching into "opposite" roles—designers worked
on the words, and writer/editors worked on images—each group
completed a project taken from an actual contest.
