Creating Excellence: Award-Winning Communications at the University
February 16, 2005
What makes a communications project successful? Can big impressions be made on a small budget? Just what is a MARGO or a MIKE? The answers to these questions and more were explored with fellow University communicators.
Winners of last year's Maroon & Gold Awards displayed their work and discussed the process of creating communications that dazzle as well as inform, persuade, instruct, and promote their messages.
The program included everything you need to know about the 2005 Maroon & Gold Awards to enter by the March 15 deadline, as well as valuable input from a past competition judge.
The panelists:
- Britt Bakke, 2005 Awards Committee, Boynton Health Service
- Melanie Clarke, 2004 award winner, University Relations
- Kathy Cobb, 2004 contest judge, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis
- Trisha Collopy, 2004 award winner, Department of Civil Engineering
- Gayla Marty, 2004 award winner, University Relations
